Kolkata, 28th July, 2022: NIP NGO - An Education & Cultural Centre for the Blind & other Differently Abled in collaboration with Anubhav - A social organisation in association with Ganadarpan has organised an Eye and Body Donation Programme Venerated by Visually Impaired, Specially-Abled and Other People. This initiative will be first of its kind in West Bengal. 



NIP, by expanding its periphery, also started intervening in the sphere of the development of cultural interests along with the thought of economical comfort of its beneficiaries. To enhance the initiative of "waste to rituality" by utilizing the waste materials, NIP teamed up with the students from art colleges and with the art professionals from various universities of West Bengal and soon it became popular.




Mr. Debajyoti Roy, Secretary of NIP & Mr. Susanta Bhattacharyya, President of Hridaypur Anubhav Welfare Society said “The persons living with visual impairments and with other physical challenges are no less than the others, and we need to encourage them for helping them make out of their best. This event included more than 100 people who volunteered for eye and organ donation. The success in Paralympicare the best justification to this.”

Background of NIP NGO: (National Institute of Professionals) NIP NGO - An Education & Cultural Centre for the Blind & other Differently Abled. NIP has been awarded with the “STATE AWARD” on December 3, 2012. Besides, it has been organizing a number of awareness camps in different parts of Kolkata and other districts of West Bengal. NIP aims towards helping the blind and differently abled in every possible way. It has also been organizing All Bengal Chess Competition and T-20 Cricket Tournament for the blinds, announcing Differently Abled & Senior Citizen Friendly Durgotsab Award during Durga Puja.
