"Thinking Of Him" set to release in theatres accross India on the occasion of Tagore's 161st birth anniversary. Indo-Argentinean film "Thinking Of Him"is all about Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore's relationship with the Argentine writer Victoria Ocampo. Having read the French translation of "Gitanjali". Ocampo idolized Tagore and when he fell ill during his Buenos Aires visit in 1924, she is said to have taken care of him."Thinking Of Him" is all set to release on 6th May, 2022 across India. The director of the film Pablo Cesar has recreated the Tagore-Ocampo encounters based on the real life story. While going to Peru to attend the centenary celebrations of the country's independence, Tagore had to stop in Buenos Aires for medical test in 1924, 6th November. Victoria Ocampo came to know about Rabindranath Tagore's illness and she offered Tagore a beautiful mansion in suburb of Buenos Aires and Tagore accepted Ocampo's offer without any hesitation. From his balcony Tagore had the view of the wide sea-like Plata river and a large garden with lovely flower plants and tall tree. Tagore was recovering and was feeling better. Tagore wanted to leave Buenos Aires and told this to Ocampo. She felt sad, tears rolled down her cheeks. The 63 year old Tagore was rejuvenated by the charming young Ocampo, 34 years old who took good care of him during his 58 days stay. Ocampo was in love with Tagore but she got a spiritual awakening and literary inspiration from the great Indian philosopher poet, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. The platonic love of Tagore was reciprocated by the spiritual love of Ocampo who was also the first woman to become a member of the Argentine Academy of Letters. After recovering fully from illness, Tagore left Buenos Aires in 1925, 3rd January. Each and every scenes are touchy of this film. The director Pablo Cesar said during his shooting experience in India that it was his unique experience to shoot in India and he knew India since 1994, although it was very difficult for him to know all and everything of India. But over the years he had understood many things about the indiosyncrasies and behaviour of people from many places in India, a country that he personally admired. The award-winning co-producer, Suraj Kumar said that he was delighted that the film is all set to release finally in the theatres accross India on the occasion of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore's 161st birth anniversary. He also said that he has been really fortunate to have someone like Pablo at the helm and none other than Victor Banerjee in the central role of Tagore. Speaking about the film, Victor Banerjee said, " The film is about what Victoria Ocampo thought of Tagore and it is not about what you and I think of Tagore. As part of my preperation, I had to understand how much she really felt for him as a woman, and as an intellectual. She was half his age when they met but there was something beyond mere admiration in their relationship. It was, ofcourse, Victoria who organised Tagore's first art exhibition in Paris in 1930." It's altogether a very touchy, informative, knowledgeble, a must see film which will touch everyone's heart. "Thinking Of Him" stars the Legendary Victor Banerjee in the role of Tagore and the Argentine actor Eleonora Wexler in the part of Victoria. The film also stars the noted actress Raima Sen and Hector Bardoni in pivotal roles. Coverage; Sukanya Banerjee
