Directed by award-winning Indian filmmaker Suraj Kumar, the short is based on a screenplay by Manish Kumar Pran. The film stars Vikrant Chauhan in the titular role. The film is premiering by various Indian Mission abroad including, Embassy of India, Paris, India in UK, CGI Birmingham, Switzerland, Colombia & Ecuador, Permanent Delegation of India to UNESCOand Bahrain on 15th August 2022. The biopic is to be named "BOROBABU" . Sisir Kumar used to be called BOROBABU by the artists of that era and this nickname means that he was a supremo hence nothing could have been a better choice of a name than this. Starting from the concept of the film to the entire research credit goes to Reshmi Mitra, who is the director of the film. The screenplay and dialogues have been taken care of by Ujjal Chattopadhyay.
